Who Am I?

Have you ever asked yourself this question? If you have not, please do it once in a while. It helps to know if are you living purposefully or you are just occupying space.   

I believe that we are all here on earth for a specific purpose. God created us unique knowing that each one of us has something different to offer. The book of Romans 12 v 6 : "We have different gifts according to the Grace given to us". These gifts which are given to us, to serve God and ultimately lead us to discovering our purpose. We are nothing without God and we are not being productive if we do not live a purposeful life.

The problem is that we let things and situations define us and we do not let God define us. Things well never fulfill our happiness but our Greatest success is knowing your purpose and fulfilling it. Your pain, hurt and miserable life can eventually be a testimony that will lead you to your assignment. It is not wrong to have dreams and want a better life and enjoying yourself. The aim is to live a life that is pleasing to God.

The book of Matthew 6:33 "Seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well". God knows our needs, but he wants a relationship with us and through that relationship we will get to know him more and he will reveal things to us. There are somethings that we did not understand, that will make sense when spending time with God.

If you want a relationship with God you need to be thirsty to know him and the only way we can know him is by reading the word of God. Everyday take time to meditate on the word and listen to what God has to say. Take a journey with God and trust him, because he says "he will never leave us nor forsake us".

Let God define you.

YOU ARE UNIQUE

GOD Created everybody on earth. The Bible says "God created mankind in his own image ,in the image of God he created them; male and female he created" Genesis 1:27 (NIV) .If you are still wanting to be like everybody else , than you do not know the power you carry within you and the uniqueness you carry. 

When you were a kid you wanted to be like people you saw on television ( actors,musician, dancer). As you grow still you do not have self identity because you wanted to be like your friends.Self Identity is important especially when your in your teen stages , because that is where the pressure hits hard. Self identity simply means the uniqueness you have, qualities you have that others do not have. 

Why should you admire to be different: Because your special , God created you to solve a problem that is different from the rest, God created you not to fit in but he created you to shine. God is not boring so should you. Why should you be a trend that does not last forever , than to be a brand that people will talk about for decades. 

I am so lucky i went to Sunday School because now i understand why our parents forced me to attend . It is an environment where you plant a seed for your future. You discover your talents , they nourish you spiritually and you slowly understand your self identity.  

I know some might think i am not real,but the reality is ;when you live a life to impress others you lack confidence.Always seek to be different , do not be a photo copy of somebody who you do not know. Also do not envy anybody because you do not know their lifestyle.Seek to excel in everything you do and know that God wants you to be unique.


You are wonderfully made.

God wants you to fix your life.

Hello Children of God ,Its been a year and i so missed writing on my blog. God has been so great in my life and by his Grace i hope you have been good too. They are so many things happening around the world but one thing you should do is know who you are and stand by it. We are so caught up in earthly things like alcohol,drugs ,sex and parties but at the end of the day does it make you a better person?

Today i want to encourage everyone who has lost direction,hope and peace. God is the Way ,the Truth and Life. Gods mercies are endless he loves us no matter what and he is willing to help you. I chose God from a young age and i already see the benefits of being a child of God, what you also need to do is fix your life. God has given us the spirit of Love ,Power and a Sound mind, he has not given us the spirit of fear. So do not fear that people will laugh when you choose the right direction but believe that your only pleasing God. The time to play is over, Being a Christian is not boring, through being a christian God gave us a friend which is the Holy Spirit which we can lean on all the time. My brothers and sisters we need to be proud and not be afraid to tell others that we pray,worship God and believe in him. I pray that they will come a day where talking about God will not be embarrassing, but instead it will be our daily conversations.

God will never give up on you but what you need to do is seek him, accept him as your lord and Savior and remain in him.God loves you and he gave his one and only son to die for us (for our sins and sicknesses) if you still do not believe in him you need to open your eyes.

"2014" THE YEAR OF UNCOMMON GRACE

I know that we are in the middle of the year and it will sound awkward to say Happy New Year. The last time I blogged was last year and I must say it is Great to be back. I now realize a difference I am making in someones live for just sharing my posts with you. A big thanks to a friend of mine  MR Mabona who encouraged me to start blogging again.

 Since the beginning of the year I have learned about the word Grace, what it means and how does someone experience Grace. Grace in a form of Christianity has been defined As "the love and mercy given to us by God , because desires us to have it ,not because of anything we have done to earn it". Everyone experiences Grace, it is not only the innocent , pure or righteous.It happens unexpected, it is free and so kind.

Do Not Settle For Less

Do not settle for less!! This message is dedicated to all the ladies and men who always miss the great things they deserve and choose to go for second best. In the book of Genesis we come across Isaac who is the father of Jacob. When Jacob betrayed his brother Esau stealing his blessings, his mother sent him to his brother he fell in love with Rachel. When Jacob made a deal with his uncle and said if I work for you for seven years will you give me your daughter Rachael . His father agreed , but when the seven years was done, when it was time for Rachael to lay down with Jacob he was given the wrong wife which is Leah( Rachel sister). In the morning Jacob confronted Laban (Rachel's father) and asked him why he gave him the wrong wife. His uncle said in his tribe the older sister must get married before the young one. Then Jacob asked him why did he tell him on time. This did not destroy Jacob because he loved Rachel so much that he told his father that he will work other seven years to get Rachel.

What this means is that in life God will give us things which are not ours, to see if you will accept them or not. Jacob did not want Leah to be his wife, all he wanted was Rachel and guess what? he worked another seven years in order to get her. The point which i am trying to say is do not settle for less. If your dream car is a Bentley, when the money you have qualifies for a BMW Child of God do not pay it, trust in the lord almighty and also believe that he wants great thing for you and he does not want you to settle for less. Go out there and do your thing. Do not listen to people who discourage you but do what you have to do in order to get what you want.

Always try to achieve the things you desire in life.
